A creative space to build confidence with performing to an audience while learning key acting techniques.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Feel confident performing on stage
  • Be introduced to key acting concepts and techniques
  • Be prepared to undertake an acting role

The sessions are aimed at absolute beginners who would like to be introduced to acting and performance skills, and experienced performers who would relish the opportunity to explore some practical techniques to develop their craft.

Over four classes participants will be introduced to basic stage presentation skills to help them feel confident performing on stage, and also learn how to realistically portray characters.

Participants would be advised to bring a notebook, pen and a bottle of water and wear loose comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.

There is an advisory age limit of 16 for these sessions as the content and pace of learning will be more suitable for adults.
