Our new lunchtime event!
Once a month on a Thursday we will be presenting Soup and a Show. Your ticket gets you a cup of hearty soup, bannocks, tea/coffee, and a 40-minute show. There’s no better way to spend a winter lunchtime!
Doors open 12.45pm for 1.10pm start.
Our final soup & a show for this winter comes from Shetland Forwirds
Shetland has a fine tradition of dialect poetry written from the 19th to the 21st century, often with a rich vein of humour running through it.
The folk from dialect group Shetland ForWirds have been waling among this kist of treasures to bring you a flavour of the dialect writing which is such a distinctive element of our cultural heritage. Join us for a showcase of this talent and hear from a number of well-known voices.
