Based on a true story, Fisherman’s Friends is a charming feelgood comedy about a group of Cornish fisherman who end up being launched into the pop charts.

A fast-living, cynical London music executive, spending a stag weekend in a remote Cornish village, is tricked by his boss into trying to sign a group of shanty singing fishermen. He becomes the ultimate ‘fish out of water’ as he struggles to gain the respect of the unlikely boy band and their families, who value friendship and community over fame and fortune.

Running time: 2h12, including ads and trailers.
