Mads Mikkelsen delivers a compelling performance in this minimalist yet gripping tale of a man stranded amid the unforgiving elements of the far north.

The sole survivor of a crash in the middle of the Arctic tundra, Overgård has set up a shelter in the broken fuselage of his plane and is living on a diet of raw fish. He keeps a regular timetable signalling with a handcranked location beacon, never giving up hope that he might be found, until one day his routine is broken by a surprise occurrence. To say more would give away too much, suffice to say staying put is no longer an option…

“A thoroughly engrossing take on a familiar scenario.” - The Washington Post
