In the distant future, a small waste-collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.
WALL-E, short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-class, is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet, one piece of garbage at a time. But during 700 years, WALL-E has developed a personality, and he's more than a little lonely. Then he spots EVE, a sleek and shapely probe sent back to Earth on a scanning mission.
Screening as part of a short season focusing on climate change and the future of the planet, to coincide with COP26. Other films in the season include Ainbo: Spirit of the Amazon, Anthropocene: The Human Epoch and Escape From Extinction.

Following the change in COVID guidance there are no longer distancing measures in place in the cinema screens, but face coverings must be worn unless you're eating or drinking, and we're requesting that customers take their own rubbish with them at the end of the film and put it in the bins provided. Cinemas will be thoroughly cleaned between each screening, and there is hand sanitiser available throughout the building.
