Celebrating her 40th year as a live performer, Eddi Reader sails over the sea to Mareel, marking the most northerly gig in her UK tour.
Starting out on Scottish country rock tours in 1978, she’s since gone on to appear on worldwide festival and concert hall stages. Having played with Gang of Four and Fairground Attraction through the eighties, she’s forged her own successful solo live career which continues to this day. Her most recent album Cavalier (2018) features a mix of traditional songs, covers, and self-penned compositions.
“She sings with a gentle passion that you draw in like a soft breath of clear, fresh air.” Folk Radio
“sumptuous and scrumptious” The Scotsman on Cavalier ★★★★
