Elephant Sessions make a welcome return to Shetland. Since performing at Shetland Folk Festival 2019, the band have toured around the world. Winning the BBC Scots Trad Music Awards Album of The Year in 2017 and Live Act of The Year 2019, this “furiously energetic five-piece” (The Wee Review) bring eclectic sounds Mareel that’ll get you jumping in this standing gig.
Hailing from the Highlands of Scotland the band formed in 2012. They are comprised of Euan Smillie (fiddle), Alasdair Taylor (mandolin), Mark Bruce (guitar), Seth Tinsley (bass, synth) and Greg Barry (drums, samples).
