To mark the start of party season, Shetland Arts presents our tribute to The Grand Ole Opry. The original Nashville Opry was first broadcast live on the radio in 1925, and over one hundred years later, is still cited as the show that made country music famous around the world.
Shetland’s GRAND AALD OPRY features David Sandison and the Tennesee Wannabes, plus very special star guests. Covering music by Johnny Cash, Eddie Cochrane, Steve Earl and more, allow the cowboys to take you on a trip to the country music stages of days past. They’ll be joined by a host of Shetland stars, including:
Freda Leask, Kim Johnson and Clare Farmer, Stewart Grains and Isobel Jamieson and Andy Stephen.
Dust off your Stetsons and polish your spurs for our Western-themed night!
